LEVEL 2- Moderate-Somewhat Hard - Tours with somewhat longer hiking sections up to 5 hours, mostly on clear wider paths and trails in safe areas. There may be 1-2 either longer or more technical day. Epic Azores Itinerary
Day 1 -Arrival - Pick up at Ponta Delgada (PDL) Airport 7am ( this is when the Toronto Flight comes in)
transfer to Casa Palmieras - If you arrive the day before...taxi can be arranged ( at your expense) to get you to hotel
Morning: Welcome Ceremony Yoga / Cacao at CASA grounds or a park nearby. *Luggage stored until later afternoon.

Pineapple Plantation Visit

Day 2
7am Morning Flow

9 am Departure to drop off Lago do Fogo - Lake of Fire , the highest body of water in the Azores - 30 min Transfer with MARIO

*9:00am Departure Morning travel to Sete Cidades Parish - Walk to look out point for the Best Pics! 2km + 150m to climb then
*Hike the 12km rolling Vista Trail to Sete Cidades Town*Trail through Eucalyptus and Japanese Cedars forest leading to the lake's shores -
*Picnic lunch in Sete Cidades Town by the lake
Afternoon activity: Mosterios Beach - Depart 15.00
Time for an ocean swim or just relax at the beach bar

Day 4 - Ribeira Funda Coastal Hike
7am - Rise n Shine Yoga
8am Breakfast
9:30 - departure to North Coast for Hike
Hike beautiful trail along the coast to the Praia da Viola for a picnic lunch provided - Continue on to the Parish town of MAIA -
Visit Tea Plantation
Hike- 6km / 400m / 4 hours - with picnic stop

Day 5
Terceira: Capital of Azorean culture
8am Breakfast -
Walk around Town in the morning
*Travel: Flight from São Miguel to Terceira island around 11 or noon
Taxi Pick UP - TRANSFER TO GLAMPING RESORT Quinta Do Abacate
Settle into our Glampsite and rooms
*Tour to Algar Do Carvao *Witness the fascinating geological formations within the lava caves- Entrance fee is 10€
* 1 hr. Yoga Flow by the pool 15:30
