A dedication to a 'One of a Kind' Mountain Man who I will miss dearly on my  training climbs to Griesskogel...A special tribute to a MOUNTAIN LEGEND in TIROL who passed away this past August, a good friend and an incredible human being...who lived the simple life and taught me soooo much....Benno will be missed every time I do my favourite climb to the Rietzer Griesskogel...this is the Sheep's Hut below where Benno lived throughout the summer tending sheep owned by the locals.  Oooh to sit around the table with Benno and gang laughing and drinking Zirbe Schnapps (usually on the way down from the peak!) was always the best part of the whole climb.....I would always see Benno on the trails carrying heavy chunks of wood on his back.......I am so glad I got to experience a full day and night there right before you left us.  Thank you for always opening your hut and your HEART to us all on the mountain!  I will never forget.....Love Karrie
