Adventure Packing List

Adventure PACKING LIST

This is a tour that we need a mix of everything. Hiking gear, Summer clothes, Warm clothes etc. In the mountains the weather can change at anytime, so we must be prepared for ALL.

Gear

  • * Backpack ( usually 32-35 liters is good)/ Suitcase for whole trip

  • * Hiking poles
    * Rain cover for hiking pack

  • * Water Bladder (optional)

  • * Water bottle (2 recommended)

  • * Good waterproof hiking boot ( up to ankle) or shoe (below ankle) well worn in!- La Sportive, Scarpa - Great brands

  • * sandals or flip flop to wear around Guesthouse/ Hut grounds

  • * Trail shoe with good tread (as extra shoe, if you have problems with hiking boots)

    * Sleeping Liner for HutsSleeping

Clothing

This is a list of clothing to have for all kinds of weather. It can be very warm and can change to windy and cool in the same day....High in the mountains it changes.
Be prepared for ALL.

  • * Waterproof jacket

  • * Waterproof pant (or water resistant)

  • * Down jacket, vest

  • * Base Layers ( breathable, moisture wicking)

  • * SOCKS - bring thin pair, and thick warmer

  • * Mits or gloves

  • * Windproof light Shell

  • * Arm Sleeves - these are THE BEST..Optional

  •  * Thin 3/4 tights, long tights or a loose fitted hiking pant

  •  * Shorts, short tights (whatever you would workout in)

  •  * Sleeveless tops or T shirts for warm weather

  •  *Clothing you feel good in for our wonderful dinners...

OTHER

  • * Separate bags within backpack for clothing, if raining

  • * European Adapter

  • *  Sunglasses

  • * Sunscreen

    * Personal mini first aid kit - your own meds, pain remedies, blister pads, medication, disinfection, lip protection,

  • * Laundry soap if you want to do some quick washing (you can get real mini ones)

  • * Energy Bars, electrolytes etc.

    * Euros in cash

  • * Book, Journal
